UGC is one of the major cinema operators in France, the group has several goals: - To offer the best experience possible to its customers - To promote the movies available in its cinemas and events related to its network (previews, reruns of iconic films, UGC-supported films, opening of new venues) - To improve customer retention -To promote its flagship offers and products (including UGC Unlimited)
To meet these challenges, UGC has launched UGC Direct, a React Native app providing news on upcoming and current movies in its cinemas.

BAM has made a technical redesign of the UGC Direct app, with users at the heart of the process, integrating their feedbacks from one sprint to another with : - user interviews - interviewing customers in waiting lines at UGC cinemas - the implementation of analytics
Improving the UX in 5 weeks
BAM and UGC have decided to use React Native to partially redesign the app's frontend and backend. The user journeys for bookings and ratings have been redesigned entirely redesigned using React Native. The result: a native user experience easy to maintain and upgrade. Some sections of their mobile site have been integrated as a web view of the user journey in order to accelerate the process.
